Starting My Etsy Shop: CPLG
So, I have been really busy working on my Etsy shop. My products are handmade clutches and small bags. I have a knack for creating things, and I just had to find an outlet. I love fashion, so I figured that I would start out with clutches. It is so much work, but I am having so much fun. I will be blogging about countdowns, follow ups, and Etsy tips soon. Wish me luck!
- You need to have 10 or more items for a successful start
- Read as much of the Etsy User Guides as possible
- Look at the competition
- Complete, research, and take care all of the busy work:
- shipping fees,
- policies,
- marketing
- Shop around for affordable and good quality supplies before you make or buy anything
- Practice making your products on dummy material before messing up any good materials, if possible.
Expected opening day: Late April

Secrets to Getting Rid of Adult Acne
CPLG Beauty: Adult Acne :(
I have had acne since I was in high school. I have tried everything from natural products to Proactive. I refuse to use Acutane because of the side effects t I've read about. So there is this website called Acne.org. The creator of the website presents a simple regimen that consist of a sensitive skin wash, 2.5 Benzoyl Peroxide, and a simple moisturizer. You can use any brand, and get the products from your local drug store. Here are the exact products that I used:
- Nuetrogena Sensitive Face Wash
- 2.5% Benzoyl Perioxide Acne Gel by Dr. Song
- Small dab of olive oil for moisturizing.
For the regimen page, click here. All of my products were purchased from amazon.com for a very affordable price. I used the products day an night, but sometimes I did not use the Benzoyl Peroxide at night because of over drying. I am not being paid to give this advice or support these products.

Trying to Open Up Shop!
Getting ready to start creating clutches for my Etsy shop! It is so much work. I had a shop before, and I didn't realize how much work it was. This time I plan to be much more prepared. So far, just finding the right fabrics have been pretty difficult. I have been looking online at Fabric.com, and they seem to have some cute ones. I'm going to be patient though, and I'm not going to execute on anything until it feels just right. Hopefully I will be able to open up shop before April!
Do you all know any cool fabric stores?
